Interior Painting Questions
Will the repair be visible after painting?
Not when it's done properly. We fill, sand and prime the repair so it blends into the surrounding wall. Where older paint has faded, we may recommend repainting the whole wall so the colour matches evenly.
Do you repair water damaged drywall?
Yes, once the source of the leak has been fixed and the area is completely dry. Badly soaked or mouldy sections are cut out and replaced. Lighter staining is sealed with a stain-blocking primer before painting. We can't repair the leak itself, so you may need a plumber or roofer first.
How long do drywall repairs take?
Small repairs are often done in a day or two, but filler needs time to dry between coats. Largerrepairs or several patches take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote, includingtime for painting.
